Private beta for agent builders · 5 team spots

Let your AI agent buy real products through one API.

Search exact variants across independent stores through one API, ready-made as MCP tools for your agent. Get a live, signed price before every purchase. Hand the buyer a hosted checkout and fetch the confirmed order. No scrapers. No per-store integrations.

The problem

Your agent can reason. It still can't buy reliably.

  • Too many protocols. No shortcuts.

    UCP, ACP, AP2, WebMCP and each card network's agent program. Every one means a new adapter, a new auth flow and new ways to fail.

  • Scraped data lies.

    Prices go stale. Variants don't match. "In stock" isn't. Your agent quotes $49 and checkout charges $74. Your user blames your agent, not the store.

  • Browser automation breaks.

    A redesign or a bot wall kills your checkout flow at 2 a.m. Every retry burns tokens, adds latency and costs you trust.

Every failed checkout teaches your user one thing: don't trust this agent with money.

The solution

One API between your agent and real sellers.

01

Integrate once

One REST API, with an MCP server on top so your agent can call it as tools. A small set of calls covers search, product details, quotes and orders.

Data your agent can act on

Search returns normalized, exact variants. Before any purchase, a live check of the seller's price and stock returns a signed quote that expires.

Purchases users trust

Your agent prepares the order. Checkout and payment run on UCP, the open commerce standard. The buyer approves, the seller is the seller of record and ships the order, and your agent never touches a card.

How it works

From API key to a confirmed order in three calls.

  1. 1

    Search. POST /v1/search, or call the same endpoint as the commerce.search MCP tool. Pass the query plus hard constraints like price, quantity and delivery date. Get exact, normalized variants back.

  2. 2

    Quote. Lock a live price and stock check with a signed quote that expires. No stale data reaches checkout.

  3. 3

    Check out. Create a hosted checkout and send the link to your user. They approve. You fetch the confirmed order.

No scrapers to maintain. No card data to handle. No protocol to learn.

agent.ts
// 1. Find the exact variant
const { results } = await cedari.search({
  query: "black shipping boxes 8x6x4",
  constraints: { quantity: 200, max_total: 24000, currency: "USD" },
});

// 2. Lock a live, signed price
const quote = await cedari.quote({ offer_id: results[0].offer_id, quantity: 200 });

// 3. Hand the buyer a hosted checkout
const { checkout_url } = await cedari.checkout({ quote_id: quote.id });

Same endpoints as MCP tools: commerce.search → commerce.quote → commerce.purchase → commerce.get_order

FAQ

Questions agent builders ask us.

How much will it cost?

Nothing during the beta. After launch there's a free search tier for agent builders. We'll publish pricing before anyone is charged, and we only earn when orders go through. Design partners lock in early-access terms.

How long does integration take?

Our target is under 2 hours from API key to first search. Call the REST API from any stack, or connect your agent to the MCP server that sits on top of it. Design partners get a direct line to our engineers.

Who's liable if an order goes wrong?

The seller is the seller of record and fulfills the order, as with any online purchase. Payments go through Stripe, with payouts to each seller's own Stripe account. The buyer approves every purchase on a hosted checkout, each order is tied to a signed, expiring quote, and every step is logged. Your agent never sees card numbers, and neither does Cedari.

Do I have to rip out my existing integrations?

No. Add Cedari as one more tool in your agent. Keep any direct Shopify or UCP integrations you already have, and use Cedari for the stores and flows they don't cover.

Which stores can my agent buy from?

Sellers in our private beta: existing Shopify stores that connect their catalog, and new sellers who list directly on Cedari from product photos. We're onboarding the first 20 now, and the catalog grows as sellers join. We won't claim inventory we don't have. Amazon, for example, isn't on the network.

Which protocols do you support?

Search and product details come from our REST API, which your agent can also call as tools through our MCP server. Checkout and payment run on UCP, the open Universal Commerce Protocol developed by Google and Shopify. ACP and AP2 adapters are on our roadmap, and your integration stays the same as they arrive.

Your agent is ready to shop. Give it stores that answer.

We're onboarding 5 agent teams into the private beta, alongside 20 sellers. Design partners shape the API, get direct access to our engineers, and pay nothing during the beta.
